Earlier today, the 3DS release date was penned for February of 2011 for Japan. No more rumored 2010 release, but that's still pretty fast. But at this rate it's going to take a while for it to hit the US in English....oh well, I think I can stand the wait.
The final specs for 3DS (if specs really matter in a Nintendo console) can be found here. It'll be bundled with a charger, a stylus, a 2GB SD card (wow. What brand?) and booklets.
It has a slide pad, in addition to the regular touch functionality, a motion and a gyro sensor. And the rest of it is standard stuff- 0.3 megapixel cameras, compatibility with DS games ands DSiWare....you know.
