Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs and Pokepark: Pikachu's Big Adventure

Written by pikaby

Sure, Pokemon Black and White were no-shows at E3, but we did get two other Pokemon games, which have already been selling in Japan for at least a few months now (Pokepark is seven months old). Hey they were bound to be localized sooner or later.

The Pokepark game I reviewed a while back is now slated for a holiday release. It's definitely not as good as I remembered, but fans should check it out if they want a cute, simple adventure game and the feeling of being able to control Pikachu in real time. Hey, cute fans are easily pleased like that.

The other one has more substance, the third Pokemon Ranger game, Tracks of Light, has been renamed to Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs for the US, and if you've been following for a while, is a personal favorite of mine. Heck, it's the best in the series! Don't worry about not playing the last two, they're not connected story-wise. You have to get this game. Loopy-loop fun ensues with the multiplayer co-op missions. You won't regret it!
